Gummy Bears!

My object is Gummy Bears! Yummy Land gummy Bears have a non stickable coat and will not get stuck in your teeth. This is better than chips and will be a good snack for kids and even adults. It may seem unhealthy but they are heathly. They are very yummy and good for parties. Yummy Land Gummy bears, the best in the world!

A Holiday Tradition

One holiday tradition for me and my family is going to a Christmas party every year. At this party we play games, eat and even have a surprise visit for Santa Claus. Everyone looks forward to this party because of SANTA! I always look forward to the Christmas party!

Myself!

I really love to play basketball. I play basketball with my friends and we are all good at it. I do most of my time playing basketball. Something else that I like doing is to do hip-hop dancing with my friends. I love to read fiction books on my free time. The book that I really love is My Sister the Vampire Seris. I love to party with my friends. When I go to a party, me and my friends play and eat as much as we can. This is my life and I love the way it is.

Holidays!

I love Holidays! I just love how we get to spend time with our family and friends, weather its sharing a laugh with some you love or just to have fun. One holiday I love is Christmas because you can decorate your Christmas tree with different ornaments. I also love when we are all sitting together with family and opening presents from your loved ones while your in your pajamas and drinking hot chocolate during the cold night. This is a holiday that I will always love.

Are you Proud of your Country?

Are you proud of your country? I certainly am. Although my ancestors are originally from the Philippines, I was born here in the United States of America and this is my country.

            I am proud of my country because of the independence, freedom and opportunity that it provides to all its citizens. Since we fought and won over the British, we obtained our freedom. Thus, the United States of America is now the land of the free. We continue to have brave men and women fighting for us, risking and sacrificing their lives to ensure our safety and freedom. On a special holiday called Veteran’s Day, we commemorate and celebrate all our veteran soldiers to show them how grateful we are that they fought for all of us.   

            The Statue of Liberty is a very popular tourist attraction because it symbolizes our freedom. Lady Liberty holds a torch in one hand, symbolizing enlightenment. This torch lights the way to freedom showing us the path to liberty. On the left hand, she holds the tablet of law that contains the date of the American Independence, July 4, 1776. This is why we celebrate the 4^th of July every year with fireworks to celebrate our Independence.

            We also have the American Flag that I am proud of. The first flag was also made in 1776 when we regained our independence, and made by Betsy Ross.  Our flag has 50 stars and thirteen red and white stripes. The stars stand for all the 50 states while the stripes stand for the 13 original colonies. We say the Pledge of Allegiance to honor the United States of America and the freedom we have gained. Whenever I say the Pledge of Allegiance, I promise to stay loyal to my country and feel very proud to be called an American. 

Halloween!!!!

Hi! Halloween is coming up so I can't wait! First, I love Halloween because you get to dress up in any costume you like. You can also trick-or-treat with your friends in costumes......Yum,Candy! For Halloween, I am going to be a boxer because I got inspired by this really good boxer named Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.My family and friends sometimes gather with each other and we go trick-or-treating or sometimes we just get together and have a Halloween party. So I can't wait in till Halloween comes!

All About Me!

 Hi! My name is Virginia. I love playing basketball especially with my friends even though we are on the same basketball team. My friends and I are good at playing basketball and I hope to go to the same college as them. We also like to do hip hop dancing with each other. In Middle School, I hope to accomplish good grades, hope to join more clubs and just have fun. My future goals is to play High School basketball which could get me a scholarship in College so I hope that I will and be the best basketball player on the High School team!
